About the book
We all feel a certain way during different times and think we’re alone in living through it all. Maybe our experience is unique, and maybe the way we react to a situation is exclusive to us. But that sentiment we feel in a particular moment, that’s not ours alone. We’re all bound by the way our minds feel various emotions, right from anger to excitement, and from fear to pride. Dive into the world of these emotions through poetic expressions in this book. Each poem focuses on one single sentiment with the intention to show how each emotion or the way we feel because of them, can make or break us; while also convincing you that it’s completely normal to experience such things. These emotions are mostly what we would conventionally refer to as ‘negative’ but reading about them in these 40+ poems will surely leave you feeling ‘positive’.

The Thank You Blog Review
I always thought that writing poetry was hard as I knew poetry is not just an amalgam of words but rather the alchemy of thoughts, emotions, and feelings penned down for the reader to relate, resonate and recreate more of such poems.
Manali Desai-The poet does that effectively. One needs a rich experience of life and honesty and should know the simple way of playing with words. So, the poems reach the reader not just verbally but equipped with emotions, experiences, and thoughts.
This short poetry book invokes the feeling of acceptance, self-confidence, and inclusivity when it comes to being human with flaws and uniqueness that are impossible to duplicate.
Throughout the 40-plus poems, there would be verses, then and there, that make the reader think, Oh yeah, I also had felt this way, and it is okay to feel that way at times as life has both good days and not-so-good days too.
Life is a complete package that comprises all of such thoughts, emotions, and feelings.
Here are a few lines that moved me.
As I took in my size, shape, and color, I asked again, “Does this define me?” The reflection smiled and said, “Yes, it does.
And, yes, you look great with it all.” Just like that, the self-assurance dominated the self-doubt again.
Do I miss you? No, because you’re still very much there. We have been friends for too long, My dear Mr. Anxiety.
But it has been a while for sure! Because you are in me and a part of me. However, your nemesis, Mr. Self-confidence, is doing just a tad better lately.
Here are a few lines that were full of inspiration
The best solution is to trudge on nonetheless, With the intention to prove to yourself more than anyone else that you can do it. With the motivation To become better than you were before you started off. With the intent To learn and grow rather than the end result of success or glory.
