A Reverie

In a land of waffle puffs and doodle dance

I wandered as a child in constant reverie,

My mum would tell me with a grin,

“Your mind’s a carnival, a wild jubilee!”

I’d sit there lost in my own little world,

The warmth of Pieskos enveloping me,

I can’t recall what wonders I dreamt,

But I’m sure they were a sight to see!

With wondrous whimsy and ethereal glee,

My mind would take me on flights so free,

To a place where the rules of reality,

Were but mere suggestions to me.
