Hope – A poem that is never forgotten

Amidst the weeping rain, hours refused to move.

She sat up close to the window that she left open.
The rain crept in with whistling ice-cold air that made her aware of the opened window.
She hastily closed the window and sat near to watch the rain in a slow-paced way.
She realized the noise and chores within her were slowly melting away in the rain.
Am I capable or am I assuming I am?
Am I strong or I am simply believing I am?
Am I worth the happiness or I am just hoping I would be?
Am I the fighter or I am just refusing to give up?
Am I everything I want to be or I am imagining I am?
Am  I happy or  I am believing in an illusion?
Am I  lonely or do I enjoy my own company?
To all her questions there came an unshakable answer from her guardian angel who flew amidst the weeping rain to shower her with true magic.
‘Hope’
You are stronger than you believe and immensely blessed more than you can ever imagine she said with a shining light in her eyes that left drops of hope in the troubled soul and eventually transformed it into an ocean of joy once again.
Even though we dont see our guardian angels, every moment that drenches our soul with hope is truly magical.

Hope keeps us in good spirits. And I also believe our best friends are the guardian angels. They never let us fall. And the rain does feel as if it washing away all that is not needed.

I truely believe in guardian angels. They are always with US. I like your poem the way you put it. The angel spread the Magic when she needed. Hope is always the answer for all question we have.

So often we ask ourselves these questions. Questioning our survival, our existence and the most common question am I everything I imagine I would be. Your poem resonated with me to my soul and trust me I could picture myself instead of the girl sitting at the window and watching the rain fall.

Wow!! Loved reading this poem … I found this poem to be a beautiful portrayal of a moment of introspection during a rainy day. You beautifully use the rain as a backdrop to create a somber and reflective mood, while the protagonist grapples with questions about her identity and self-worth. The introduction of a guardian angel adds a spiritual element to the poem, giving the message of hope and resilience a deeper meaning. The last few lines are particularly impactful, emphasizing the importance of finding hope even in the darkest of times. I must say that this is a touching and insightful poem that captures the essence of the human experience in a relatable and poignant way.

Hope, hope and hope is the only thing which keeps us going even in the odd hours of life. Being a student and practitioner of astrology I too have faith in guardian angles as I felt the presence especially when I felt like reaching a dead end of life with no sign of hope. Coming to your petry dear friend… it made be feel mesmerized and gave me the feel yes, hope is still alive. The flow of poem and choice of words… uff it turned the poem a blissful read for me.

Our guardian angels always find a way to guide us through, if only we take a moment to listen to them. This was a lovely poem.

I really needed to read this today. Sometimes when everything seems in vain, hope is the only thing to keep us going. Almost as powerful as love, hope is truly beautiful

Nicely penned. We all have self doubts at time. Faith in ourselves and in the higher power can get us through these times.

A lovely poem that is! And I totally agree with you and it. It is hope that makes us believe in have faith that no matter how bad things may go, there’s always a way out and light after some darkness. No matter what circumstances one would be in, we shouldn’t forget that in every problem, there’s a solution.

A lovely piece, Sivaranjini. The world survives on hope. And our guardian angels keep looking over us from the other realm. All it needs is faith.
