For without me, life’s hues would be so bland,
I am the greatest need of the human band!”
Strength boasted, “I am the mighty force,
The bulwark that holds you, the sturdy horse!
Without me, you’d stumble, falter, and fall,
I am the one who helps man conquer all!”
Willpower whispered, “I am the voice inside,
The determination that never subsides!
Without me, you’ll succumb to every pain,
I am the power that keeps you sane!”
Love sighed, “I am the essence of all bliss,
The bond that binds all, the sweetest kiss!
Without me, life is a barren place,
I am the one who fills it with grace!”
Gratitude humbly said, “Although you all are great,
I can say with all my heart, and without debate,
That I am the best book ever written,
And you are all part of it, a story so smitten!
” For if you walk to the end of the earth,
And discover every treasure, every worth,
You’ll find that gratitude, is the greatest gem,
The one that sparkles, like a priceless diadem!
And though it can take forever to comprehend,
The power of gratitude, that never does end,
It’s a force that makes life truly worthwhile,
A Zillion-fold blessings, in every mile!”
