I started writing to give hope and strength through words that could help people understand the power of words and also have reasons to share the joy behind the words that serve as fuel for happiness in life. Here is my perspective on pain.
Pain is not pain if it does not improve your tolerance. Pain is not pain if it does not make you stronger than before.
Pain is not pain if it does not help to start anew once again after the insight it taught you about life.
Pain is not pain if you never tried to hide it at least once in your lifetime for fear of being judged.
Pain is not pain if it does not ask you to push away your boundary of comfort and help you conquer the known and unknown.
Pain is not pain if it leaves you without a lesson.
Pain is not pain if its force does not lessen when you express it to the ones you love.
Pain is not pain if transformed into words becomes a song that lingers in your mind throughout the day.
Pain is not pain if it does not make you weak to see someone in pain.
Pain is not pain if it doesn’t alert you to take care of your life and health.
Pain is not pain if it does not give you the power to overpower the source of your pain and say aloud to yourself ” You are stronger than your pain, wilder than your nightmares and more adventurous than your life’s twists and turns”.
Pain is not pain if it did not surprise you with your undeterred courage.
Pain is not pain if it does not result in tears of happiness and bliss.
Pain is not pain if does not make you understand what you underwent was a test of time.
pain is not pain if it does not give you priceless calmness after crying your heart out.
Pain is not pain if it does not leave you with scars or wounds that later become memories of experiences.
Pain is not pain if after years it made you laugh at how silly you were to cry about little things.
Pain is not pain if did not pave the way to how to get rid of it.
Pain is not pain if it is not what makes your life’s game a win after the strife.
Pain is not pain but a powerful pioneer of
the pivotal promise of a tomorrow that you perceive in the present.
Pain is not pain if it doesn’t make you pray for a soul that is troubled and seeks peace.
Pain is not pain if it does not bring abundant mercy to even the hard-hearted.
Pain is not pain if it does not inculcate empathy.
Pain is not pain if it does not help you see the possibility of any difficulty.
Pain is not pain if it doesn’t allow you to turn unexpected hardships into planned success pursuits.
Pain is not pain if it does not lead you to the pinnacle of joy after a strong storm.
Pain is not pain if it does not tell you the worth of enjoying a rainbow after the relentless rain.
Pain is not pain if it doesn’t prepare you for the unpredictable future.
Pain is not pain if it does not prescribe you the power of the present.

But pain is just pain if you only see the pain in it. I have known people who haven’t seen the side you’re talking about but only cry and cry about it and make other’s lives filled with pain too.
But pain is only pain when you decide to only see the pain in it. Sadly, some people do not learn from their pain and just make other’s around them miserable too.
But pain is only pain if you decide to only see the pain part of it. There are people who see above it and there are people to just see pain as it is and not anymore!
Your reflection on pain as a transformative and empowering experience is truly inspiring. It beautifully captures the essence of how our most challenging moments can lead to growth, strength, and a deeper understanding of joy and empathy.
Pain may seem unbearable, but it holds valuable lessons. It strengthens us, teaches us empathy, and reminds us of our resilience. Transforming pain into words can be healing, offering solace and understanding. It’s not just about enduring pain; it’s about using it to grow and find joy in life’s twists and turns.
Pain is so many more things than just pain, is what I believe. All the circumstances surrounding an event are purpetrators to its cause. Pain for me is growth, which I learn from and try not repeating the mistakes that caused the pain.
It’s quite inspiring how you viewed suffering as a transforming and liberating experience. Though it may seem unfathomable, pain can teach us important truths. It fortifies us, imparts empathy, and serves as a reminder of our resiliency. Putting suffering into words has the power to heal and provide comfort and understanding. Not only may one endure suffering, but they can also use it to grow and discover joy in all of life’s unexpected turns.
It aptly conveys the core of how our most trying times may foster resilience, progress, and a greater appreciation for joy and empathy.
This is almost deja vu. I was hearing a talk show on Youtube and it was also about pain and how it changes and reshapes our personality. And then your post also talks about that. Pain can really make us a better version of ourselves, depending on how we handle it.
A powerful and well thought of piece Sivaranjini.. it’s a delight to read such posts of yours.
I loved this line… ‘Pain is not pain if it does not inculcate empathy.’ I have seen people who undergo hardships and suffer in life but wish others to go through the same… esp. the category of women called mother in laws😛. They get tortured by their respective MILs but instead of putting themselves in their DILs’ shoes n being kind to them, they torture them more.😬
Btw, it may sound funny, but at this age too, I still cry over small things cuz it’s the small things that matter a lot to me.
Your perspective on pain is incredibly profound and inspiring. It’s a refreshing take on a topic that many people shy away from or view solely as a negative experience. Your words resonate deeply with the idea that pain, when embraced and understood, can lead to growth, resilience, and ultimately, joy.
Pain yet it is unbearable but you find your strength. Your perspective on pain is transformative and inspiring. Yes! We go through a lots of pain but we learnt through it only. It is relatble to many of us but few only can learn to survive with pain.
‘Pain is not pain if it leaves you without a lesson’, ‘ Pain is not pain if it did not surprise you with your undeterred courage ‘, ‘ Pain is not pain if after years it made you laugh at how silly you were to cry about little things’ ‘ Pain is not pain if it doesn’t prepare you for the unpredictable future ‘ , were my favorite lines from this thoughtful piece. Also, I felt like most stanzas here could work just as well if we replace the word ‘pain’ with ‘failure’, hai na? or is that just me? Another very well-penned poem, Sivaranjani. Keep them coming!
Pain can not only be the physical feeling but also be a good teacher at times. I love the choice of words that you’ve chosen to express what it can’t be
Pain is often seen as something negative but I love your perspective that sheds light on its hidden beauty. Pain isn’t just about suffering, it’s about growth, resilience and ultimately, finding joy in life’s journey. Thank you for sharing this powerful perspective.
Very well expressed. Pain makes you stronger to face the world with full zing. Loved the way you have transformed the negative emotion to a positive one.
Though pain may appear intolerable, it carries profound teachings within its depths. Pain fortifies our spirits, instills empathy within us, and serves as a poignant reminder of our inner strength. Channeling pain into words can serve as a therapeutic release, granting solace and fostering deeper understanding. Enduring pain is not merely a test of resilience; it presents an opportunity for growth and discovery of joy amidst life’s tumultuous journey. I loved the way you penned your emotions about Pain. Keep inking it will help you erase pain.
It’s a very strong piece that has a lot of depth. Looks like you are writing from your own experience. I hope everything is OK.
Physical pain. Emotional pain. It does transform us. Lovely piece. This is going to stay with me for a long time, particularly when I am struggling. Thank you!
You’ve given me a lot to think about. You’ve talked about pain in a way that shows it’s not just something we have to put up with, but something we can grow from. I love how you’ve explained that even though pain hurts, it can also make us better in the end. Your words are really powerful.
Pain is hard to rahe but it’s the only way ahead as well. It introduces us to our inner courage and gives the push to overcome every hurdle.
An inspiring read – a look at how pain can be more that just pain, but actually be helpful for one.
Pain is just pain. And everything else is just reflection of it. It is not the pain that makes you stronger but the reflection of it. And I guess this post summarizes that thought really well.
Poignat poem about pain!
Pain is a pain for only sometime. But that has to become the strength, a force that drives us forward. With a smile on our face that would make others curious
Your blog is a true beacon of knowledge in the vast sea of information online. Your thoughtful analysis and well-researched articles never fail to impress. Keep up the excellent work!
Pain always have a hidden lesson behind it. But while experiencing it, the person is in complete denial and suffering a lot. In that crucial moment, the person who learns the hidden lesson and fights against it only evokes as a winner and behold more stronger perspective. Very nicely depicted the true perspective of pain.
