Magnesium is abundant in little millet, which benefits cardiovascular health. Niacin, which helps decrease cholesterol, is also prevalent in it. Phosphorus, which is present in little millet and beneficial for weight loss, tissue healing, and regenerating energy after intense exercise. It also aids in body detoxification.

5. Finger millet

It is believed that  ragi, which has a high calcium concentration of 344 mg per 100 g, originated in India. This cereal contains more calcium than any other cereal that is currently known to exist.

6. Proso Millet

High levels of lecithin found in proso millet improve the health of the nervous system. The important amino acids methionine and cysteine, as well as the vitamins niacin, B-complex vitamins, and folic acid, are all prominent in this millet variety.


Moringa leaves

Vitamins A, C, B1, B2, riboflavin, B3, niacin, B6, and folate are all present in moringa leaves. They have seven times the vitamin C of oranges and are also high in magnesium, iron, calcium, phosphorus, and zinc.

Making of Moringa Millet pasta at Farm 2 Home

The multimillet flour is mixed with the wheat flour in a 1:1 ratio along with moringa powder, cold-pressed ground nut oil, and salt. The flour mixture is then extruded, or simply given the desired shape, with the use of a mechanical extruder. Before the final packaging, the extruded product is steamed and sun-dried.

Black rice or Karuppu Kavuni arisi, contains the most antioxidants. It is believed that the Chinese and kings of the ancient times ate black rice, also referred to as Emperor’s rice.

The phytonutrient content of this forbidden rice is higher. It is a great liver cleaner because of its high levels of fibre and antioxidants.

Black rice has numerous health benefits and helps build a strong immune system. Due to the disease preventing properties and the wealth of nutrients present it came to be known as forbidden rice as it was  not made widely available for consumption by common people but was restricted to be eaten by the king and the royal family. 

The  noodles made from the combination of black rice flour and wheat flour  would be a nutritious and yummy food choice.  

The ingredients from the Indian spice box are used to create the masala mix for the pasta and noodles from Farm 2 Home. 

Pepper corns, jeera, red chilli powder, onion powder, and tomato powder.  It only contains black salt, turmeric, sugar, and no artificial flavourings, taste enhancers and preservatives.

Like you have claimed I hope the millet moringa pasta n black rice noodles are as tasty as the regular ones Sivaranjini. They look really appetizing n not much different but eventually, the taste is what matters. I hate whole wheat pasta😬. I make pasta quite regularly so a healthier option is always welcome.
