Why the multi-Millet wheat flour from Ana foods your Versatile Cooking Partner?

The Thank You Blog product review for Ana Foods Multi-Millet Wheat Flour

Nowadays, the majority of people choose multigrain atta instead of wheat flour in an effort to get the nutrients of several grains in one. Today, we’ll be looking at Ana Foods’ millet version of multigrain wheat flour, which is a perfect blend of samba wheat, little millet, Foxtail millet, and maize, providing the nutrients of these two millet varieties and two grains.

This multi-millet wheat flour could become your all-purpose flour, as it is perfect for making any food variety, whether it is your happy and fulfilling Sunday breakfast poori or your usual healthy breakfast of dosa or chapati. If you are looking to make your family’s snacks healthier or if you like baking cakes but are worried about the refined flour that makes the base, then this versatile flour from Ana Foods comes as your one-stop solution.
As I have already discussed other millet varieties in my previous blog posts, I am going to focus on these two ingredients: little millet and maize.

It is known as the “little millet” due to its tiny size and appearance, but this millet boldly says, “Never ever judge me by my size and appearance; I am full of nutrients and have many health benefits that are difficult to duplicate.”

Little Millet is considered the King of Millets for six supreme reasons.

1. Little millets are a great source of energy because they contain complex carbohydrates, which release sugars into the bloodstream gradually, help to maintain blood sugar levels, and prevent overeating by keeping you fuller for longer.

2. Little millet’s antioxidants support a stronger immune system and aid in the body’s defence against a variety of diseases.
3. The B vitamins in little millet help protect and improve brain health.
4. The high fibre content in little millet helps with better digestion and ensures a happy gut, which in turn ensures overall health.
The abundance of phosphorus in little millet makes it your ideal weight-loss buddy in the long run.

5. Iron and calcium in little millet prevent anaemia and osteoporosis.

6. With their versatile nutrient profile, they are proven to improve reproductive health in both men and women.

Health benefits of maize, which are similar to little millet.

1. Magnesium, which is found in maize, helps to maintain normal blood pressure and heartbeat as well as strengthen bones. Corn is a healthy snack. The body can easily process it. It also doesn’t contain any fat or starch and breaks down into intermediate carbohydrates that the body can easily absorb.

2. If you omit the butter and cheese seasoning, this nutritious cereal will help you lose weight.

3. One cereal that has a fair amount of iron and aids in the formation of new blood cells is maize.

All four of the primary ingredients in the multi-millet wheat flour have been carefully curated to provide you with the necessary micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) to make your meal balanced and nutrient-dense, in addition to providing carbohydrates and proteins.

These are the three food items I tried with Ana Foods multi-millet wheat flour.
1. Multi-millet flour poori and Chennai-style vadacurry
2. Crispy, tasty, and healthy cookies
3. Banana walnut mug cake

My take on Ana Foods’ multi-millet flour

This product from Ana Foods, in my opinion, is the first of its kind millet flour and the best option for switching to a healthier version of base flour because there is no compromise in taste or texture, whether it is used for pooris, cookies, or cakes. It is an amazing option for both healthy baking and happy eating.

Why do you wait? Since it’s Diwali, a lot of us would like to spend time with our families and cook comfortably. Therefore, your best bet might be the millet breakfast combo.

I, The Thank You Blogger, wish everyone a happy Diwali in advance and hope you all have a joyful festive season ahead.

I am keen on trying the cookies and the mug cake. I like multigrain flours as they have a different flavour and taste. Am sure the cookies will taste yum! and take away the guilt of eating commercial, unhealthy ones.

Millet offers a very different taste when you make roti out of it and I experienced that when one of my friends served it in dinner when I visited his place last week. yes, its not her but his wife who made it for my family along with other dishes and it tasted delicious to me. Will you share the mug cake recipe I wish to try it. Thanks for the informative post on millets/maize.

I’ve never tried millet/s before and really curious who it would taste like. Not sure how it would differ to all purpose flour when used in a same recipe. The dishes you’ve shared are great and delectable! Appreciate you sharing them

My younger daughter loves the regular puris and can gobble 5-6 easily but I sometimes feel sad letting her eat those empty carbs. This option seems great Sivaranjini. Ek teer se doh nishani😀

We have been transitioning towards millets although we do prefer preparing stuff from scratch. Vadacurry has piqued my interest. I am going to surely give it a shot.
