A Poem to get over your Fear

The fierce breeze whistled through the darkness,

As the thunder roared, oh how heartless.

Nothing’s more horrific than the man who fights,

His self-created fears, that plague his nights.

For the heart that fears is an unruly beast,

That mutates as per man’s imagination, a demonic feast.

Scary, undefeatable, and dangerous, it looms,

In silence, it consumes, in fear, it consumes.

But when you laugh at it, oh so bravely,

And say, “You don’t even exist in reality,”

It withers away, in the face of light,

And crumbles to dust, vanishing from sight.

For the power of laughter, the strength of the will,

Can conquer all fears, and make them still.

No more shall the heart be a monster,

For the light shall bring peace, and end the impostor.

So, embrace the darkness, and face your fears,

With courage, and laughter, and wipe away the tears.

For the heart that fears is but a phantom,

And in its defeat, you shall find your freedom.
