Cultivating the First-Word Hope in Our Word Garden

Words are just words.”

What is your take on this quote?

I had heard people say this and have thought maybe they are right at times, but many more times, I noticed words have a profound effect on the universe, people, their thoughts, emotions, and actions.
Words are letters put together to give meaning.

That is what we all think of them, but words can be a glimpse of hope, a ray of a smile, a spark of divinity, a moment of joy, a reason for living, a reason for silence, a reason to voice out, and even the power word that saves a life.

Often, we come across people who say if you have understood a person completely, you will start understanding their silence too eventually.

I think this is a mirage that people tend to believe. Why give a chance for interpretation when you have your words to say?

When you cannot speak to make the other person feel better with your words, it is better to remain silent.

But, it is equally important that we should not allow our silence to get ignored or misinterpreted.

Hope – 1st word of the word garden

Let your words sprinkle hope every time you speak. A tiny little drop of it can give a grip to someone on the edge of survival.

Most of the time, it is not external factors that influence our life. It is willpower that makes the real difference.

Again, I know the nagging question that comes to our minds. How will words make a difference when a situation or circumstance is difficult?

How you phrase it makes it what they are. Otherwise, words unambiguously remain just words. Hope is the leader of the word garden and has all that one needs for life. I am not going to be repetitive about the mighty power of this word.

It is present in every little thing that gives you the reason for your pursuit of happiness.

To be continued in the next post. I would be happy to receive your comments and feedback on the first word of the word garden already cultivated.

Like the pen is mightier than the sword, the words that are looped in to a string , they are very powerful. We should watch what we say as words are very strong.

Nice thoughts Sivaranjini… hope.. what a strong word and yes it keeps everyone alive… its true! but this word brings back a different memory for me… a quote actually, of Khaled Hosseini… it is kind of negative but somehow just imprinted in my memory
let me share it…
‘And the past held only this wisdom: that love was a damaging mistake, and its accomplice, hope, a treacherous illusion.’
it is very profound n meaningful but in a different context.

Words have immense power to make one feel good or shame the other. Wisely chosen words reveal a person’s personality and communication style. It’s the act of expressing one’s thoughts, feelings, and insights. Many people recognise the significance of its expression, while others do not.
