The Thank You Blog Book Review for Gobi goes viral

I  always believe that children’s books are ageless because they include so many pearls of wisdom and self-help reminders that benefit all readers, regardless of age.

Top 10 Reasons Why Gobi goes viral is truly a gem of a narrative that proves what I believe is true.

For me, the narrative of Viral Gobi is a fun-filled story for children while offering numerous self-help lessons for all of us.

1. Gobi stands out to me when he tries to help his parents overcome their financial situation at the tender age of nine.

A child knowing their financial condition understands life the better way as they realize the hardships their parents face to ensure all their needs are met.  Gobi is a creative and fun-loving little boy who wants to continue his education at the Primrose Academy, so he seizes each opportunity that comes his way, despite his lack of confidence to rap in English.

The urge to learn and become better in life makes us overcome all the hardships of life.

2. Pari is the best buddy that everyone desires. She believes in Gobi’s talent when Gobi himself finds it hard to believe he could be a rock star performer.

How the children Googled how to generate money using the right method shed light on the latest digital era’s children’s preference for Google above any other source of knowledge. A good friend and google together help us find the desired solution to any problem.

3. When Pari claims that privileged families like hers don’t communicate with their loved ones and that the only time they engage is through their smartphones, it seemed to me that the tiny kid represented the current way of life.

If we give half the time we give our smartphones to our families and loved ones then life and relationships would improve immensely.

4. Pari’s character appeared strongest to me when she decided to conceal the truth about her wounded eye by spreading rumours that she would turn others into stones if she gazed at them without her black goggles. And the reality that she was intent on avoiding the boys who enjoy bullying their classmates demonstrates that she is mindful of who she should be with. Being aware of our company helps us build an amicable environment around us and it helps us to grow like the tree that grows in its desired atmosphere.

5. When she tried to bolster her friend Gobi’s spirits by stating, “You have nothing to lose, and there is nothing wrong with taking up the rapping opportunity; language doesn’t matter; what matters is daring to overcome difficulties with hard work and persistence.”

Giving Gobi a piggy bank to help him save is a sweet little kind gesture, but when Aarav takes the piggy bank away, Pari fights back and gets it back, and she is portrayed as brave and powerful.

Standing up for what is wrong is a quality that develops in childhood and it helps us to be empathetic and understand others’ problems and points of view.

6. Seeti, another smart little hero and an old-school buddy of Gobi’s, leaves us with an ultimatum: even though I am the world’s worst bowler, how can I improve unless I strive and practice to become better at everything I would like to learn and grow at?

Every legendary performer began as a novice who learnt from their mistakes and eventually reached the reputation of who they are today.

Everyone’s journey begins somewhere so it is better to start now than never.

7. Whether you have friends who are cheering or not, you have everything in the world if you have parents who are encouraging and never fail to believe in their child’s talent, regardless of what the rest of the world thinks.

Your family is the greatest treasure that is capable of transforming every moment of your life into a blessing.

8. The universe does truly conspire with the will of a human, who does everything in their power to achieve what they desire in life, and this also applies to viral Gobi.

His on-stage rap performance although goes unnoticed because the chief guest is caught up in traffic fortunately is captured & uploaded on the internet and goes viral, which changes his life by granting him a scholarship to complete his schooling at his favourite new school.

He has resisted his tormenting peers since he can simply work on English and master it at his new school.

Being the son of a vegetable vendor, the ordinary Gobi, who is skilled at naming people after vegetables, changes into the super rapper, the viral Gobi, true to his name, with the help of motivating friends like Pari and Seeti, supportive parents, and well-wishers.

9. The author has created the book with all of the innovative elements like illustrations, rhyming words, and humour that will make it a popular children’s book.

Knowing what your target audience wants and sketching a way through your words right into their heart by understanding what would be appreciated and loved by them seems to be the author’s way of reaching her readers.

10. This children’s book aims to teach its readers that we may find the strength and will to move mountains, defeat the biggest bullies in life, and achieve success by surrounding ourselves with loving people who hope and want only the best and most blessed things to happen to us.

About the book

Gobi loves studying at Primrose Academy. Alas, it looks like his days there are numbered. Luckily, his new friend, the cool, clever Pari, comes up with an exciting plan. Now all Gobi needs to do is unleash his talent and rap at the Talent Show. There’s just one teeny problem. He speaks English with an accent and his classmates make fun of him. Will he muster the courage to get up on stage and do what he loves? Or will it be bye-bye Primrose Academy?
