To the puddle of thoughts I walk through each day, did you even know you are my mentor, who muddles me and later gives me a clear say?
To those questions about what life would and could be, which threaten me far more than I can ever say, when will you realise I am stronger than I portray?
To the space where I can share about those scars that helped me shine and grow out of all the puzzles my lonely self will ever throw, will you ever understand you were helpful beyond whatever merely I utter though?
To all those words said by some simply sweet people who helped me take up the courage to witness life and walk along its way, did you even have a rough idea what kind of power your words magically sprayed along my way?
To the days that fly in the race of time without a speck of difference, what should I do to embrace a change?
Not one but many whys’, whats’, and hows lead me nowhere, leaving me with a wave of helplessness that none can cure, but only my divine, mighty God with a Vel will ensure bliss and wind up anyway.
To the year that made me realise this, pray for those who trust you not by choice but with their will and way.
To all those who still really count on me, thank you for being who you all are, and that’s what makes life worthwhile per se. I promise to protect your trust, and that is all I can say.
Another year to understand that no one else but yourself could be your friend and foe and all that you want one to be.
From the tears that repaired me and made me strong along the way to smiles that mend my way, what else can I ask for?
Will you be the weapon I would ever want to rebuild myself after every winter that withers away?
To the year that kept life calm, serene, and simple, thank you for being kind, but will you promise me you are bringing a brand new one with betterment and bliss as you bid goodbye with ringing Christmas bells and creamy cakes?
Will you be Santa and bring in all the peace and happiness the world partakes to embrace solace?
To all the dreams that I left behind—what you thought I forgot—I have just given you some rest to reappear with rigour.
There is no giving up in this lifetime, not even for those hard times, but even there, what else could have made me strong if not for those difficulties that lent me the strength I need lifelong?
Life is life, and it has its way, undeterred by the wind that sways.
If something stays beyond adversity, it is kindness, I must say.
To those who care and those who don’t, I say, live life your way. With this, I finally state to all those reading it till now to kindly say how you liked the poem I wrote my way.
