You can be an Inspiration despite your disability

Life is challenging for each one of us. They may vary from person to person, but for all of us, challenges exist, and none of us can avoid them, but all of us can overcome them.
The pain we face and the strength we gain become the path to understanding our power.
For differently-abled people, there is an incredible effort they put into life and its challenges.
They eventually gather the ability to outgrow and live beyond their problems.
Today differently-abled people are living as true inspirations.
Whether it is Nick Vijuvic or Muniba Mazari, it should be someone in their family who stood with them in their life and made them believe they could do well despite the challenges life threw at them.
Encouraging them and making them understand they are no less than anybody is one great thing only a family member or a loved one can do.
To give strength with words may sound so simple.

But It is one of the best kinds of strength and inspiration one human can give to oneself and the people in the world around them.
No person is ordinary if their words can benefit another fellow human being.

Life is all about perspective, and I would share quotes from two differently-abled superhumans and my outlook on them.

Muniba Mazari born 3 March 1987, also known as the Iron Lady of Pakistan is a Pakistani activist, anchor artist, model, singer and motivational speaker.
Muniba is also Pakistan’s first model and anchor who uses a wheelchair. She uses a wheelchair due to injuries sustained in a car crash at the age of 21.

Nicholas James Vujuvic born on 4 December 1982,is an Australian American Christian evangelist and motivational speaker of Serbian descent, born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterised by the absence of arms and legs.

We are all perfectly imperfect, and that’s perfectly alright. -Muniba Mazari

If only you understand and accept yourself the way you are with your flaws and impeccable strengths as one complete package, you realize you are the incredible you.
With acceptance comes peace, joy and self-love.

I don’t know how my story will end, but nowhere in my text you’ll ever read I gave up. -Muniba Mazari

These words sum up life in the most courageous way.
Life has some bad and some good days, but it is a blessing to understand nothing in the world is worth giving up.

People are nothing but mirrors and what we see in them is nothing but our own, reflection. -Muniba Mazari

Most of the problems would end if We could see that we are all the same when it comes to the things that make us human be it pain, pleasure, thoughts, and emotions, rather than finding the differences that cause problems.

I can undoubtedly admit that I am caged by my body. but my mind is free, and so are my spirit and soul. I can still dream big ― Muniba Mazari

To see oneself beyond physical flaws and realize that mind and soul are limitless and full of undeterred courage, unshakeable strength to dream big and achieve them.

The attitude of gratitude will never let your pain turn into suffering! ― Muniba Mazari

We often believe gratitude is learning to count our blessings. But, in the real sense, gratitude is a superpower that transforms your pain into a valuable lesson that empowers you rather than pushing you into a well of sorrow.

Labels do not define you. You define yourself. – Muniba Mazari

It is an age-old practice of the world to judge people and label them as weak, strong, capable, and incapable. Even a child at the primary level does not escape such labels but eventually understands that they are not what others say but what they believe about themselves.

Too many people are not living out their dreams because they’re too busy living in fear. Break the habit! – Nick Vijuvic

Fear may seem like a small four-word, but it has the power to stop the progress you make in life. The word has many times eaten up valuable opportunities in life.

Even if you take a tiny step towards overcoming it, appreciate yourself because you are braver than you believe and stronger than you think.

If you can’t get a miracle, become one. -Nick Vijuvic

We all invariably wish for miracles, and when we dont get them, how many of us decide to become a miracle in someone’s life? In every word you spoke that made someone feel better, in every action you did that lessened someone’s pain, in every smile, you became the reason behind you have become a miracle.

I don’t want to be someone’s reason to hate their life. I want to be someone’s reason to seek something more in their life.― Nick Vujicic

When you fight your battles of life or when your journey is onerous, you often tend to think life is one big struggle. But, to win in all your life struggles and come out with flying colors and show people life has reasons for celebration is a life lived well.

For every disability you have, you are blessed with more than enough abilities to overcome your challenges.– Nick Vijuvic

Once you break the habit of seeing your disability as a difficulty, it becomes easy to see numerous other abilities you have.
It will not only help you outgrow your disability but will help you understand your true potential of being a differently-abled superhuman.

If you need a friend, become someone else’s. If you don’t have hope, give hope to others. – Nick Vijuvic

Being more of what you want or desire to have is one way of building the world you would love to live in. if you can give hope and lend your shoulder as a friend, which could change their life for the better, you are wealthy and prosperous than you think you are.

You should never live according to what you lack. – Nick Vujicic.

If you live based on your strengths and build a life on what you have, it will help you get what you want and give way to making yourself self-sufficient in all walks of life. Once you shift your focus on your abundance rather than thinking about your lack, no matter how tough your circumstances and situations are, you will always be able to do your best and give life your best shot in every instance.

I hope my blog post for today brought a happy smile of hope, strength, and courage to all the readers.

The post for today is dedicated to every differently abled superhuman living as a proud inspiration.

There’s no one way to live life. Some people believe in living life based on their strengths, and others believe in building a life around what they’re passionate about. There isn’t necessarily a right or wrong way to go about it. It’s more important to figure out what works best for you and makes you happy. If you’re the type of person who thrives when working with your hands, then a career in carpentry or mechanics might be a good fit for you. If you have a knack for art or design, then a job in those fields could be rewarding. And if you’re someone who loves helping others, then a career in social work or teaching could be perfect for you.The most important thing is to find something that makes you happy and fulfilled. Once you figure out what that is, you can start building a life around it. Don’t be afraid to experiment and try new things until you find something that feels right for you.

Inclusion is about embracing people of all backgrounds and abilities. It’s about creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, respected and valued. When we include others, we help create a world that is more open, equitable and just. Creating an inclusive environment starts with each of us. We can all play a role in making our workplaces, communities and world more welcoming places for everyone. By promoting inclusion, we can make a difference – for ourselves and for others.

Thanks for sharing about the lives of these two incredible people. Life is not easy for most people and it would be particularly hard for those with disabilities, but the outlook of Muniba Mazari and Nicholas Vujicic certainly gives all of us inspiration to carry on.

So many wonderful ideas in this blog post. But the one I liked best was about the attitude of gratitude. And how it’s transformative.

Acceptance, Inclusion and Encouragement are simple things needed for any human on this Earth. Muniba Mazari and Nicholas James Vujicic are both very inspiring to make us understand that we can rise above all diversities and overcome disabilty if we have the will and power.

This blog is all about motivation. Love it. Though I have a grouse about the title as I avoid sayang “despite disability”, since disability does not define the person. The most important thing is to look beyond these disabilities, empower and make the people with disabilities believe in themselves.

Truly, if only each one of us would have that kind of mindset, then the world would be a different place. Sadly, even those without disabilities lack the drive to inspire or even be inspired to do something great. I’ve just recently got my hands on Nick Vujicic’s book – Life Without Limits, and can’t wait to get inspired by his wisdom!

reminded me of something beautiful I read “ONE DAY YOU WILL TELL YOUR STORY OF HOW YOU OVERCAME WHAT YOU WENT THROUGH AND IT WILL BE SOMEONE ELSE’S SURVIVAL GUIDE.”

It is quite inspiring to go through lives of “role models” like Nick Vijuvic, Muniba Mazari, Nadia Nadim and so on. I had watched video of Nick Vijuvic few years back and his words had stuck to me – “If you can’t walk, crawl..but keep moving little by little, keep progressing…”

Totally agree with the fact that everyone with a disability can be an inspiration. Nice perspective. I would just add that everyone can be an inspiration when one begins to include disabled in a more inclusive manner. Keep the good work going.

Thank you for sharing about Muniba and Nick and their life quotes..I did not know about them. I keep this from your article as inspiration: “We often believe gratitude is learning to count our blessings. But, in the real sense, gratitude is a superpower that transforms your pain into a valuable lesson that empowers you rather than pushing you into a well of sorrow.”

DiaryOfAnInsaneWriter

People like Nick and Muniba are real life superheroes that motivate everyone to be the best versions of themselves. They really prove that no obstacle is too big and anything is possible if you set your mind to it. The mind is our greatest weapon and if used correctly, it can be used to achieve anything!

I agree with all you said. It’s not about appearance but how we make a difference. We can’t judge someone’s ability by their looks.
